Anyone who traveled through the Math/Science wing earlier this semester was treated to an elegant, artful, and organic art installation: a sedge of origami cranes. The project was the inspiration of Math/Science teacher Elizabeth Overton, who had this to say about it:

“I saw the cranes at another school. It was a really beautiful community moment. If you fold a thousand cranes, you get a wish. We’re about at 600 cranes right now. People should contribute to be a part of something. The cranes should inspire people to get involved, be part of something bigger.”
