"The Raven's Cry": ASFA's New Avian Advice Columnist Is Open for Business

Starting in October, The Star will roll out a new advice column, "The Raven's Cry," penned by a mysterious and strangely intelligent anthropomorphic bird who has a special talent for answering the thorniest questions that trouble the human soul.

Quoth the Raven: "I was just thinking about having an advice column but it'd be like Banksy where it's anonymous. I think, especially, there was that one painting that was shredded while it was being auctioned, and I thought that was incredible. . . . It just draws people's attention because it's, like, 'Oh my gosh, who is that? What's happening?' But I wanted to do that with writing."

When questioned about the fact that they're a bird, presumably without the various intellectual and phenotypical advantages of humans in undertaking such an endeavor (e.g., frontal cortex, opposable thumbs, human experiences), they were dismissive. "Birds are smart," says Raven.
